About Julia Chotowetz RMT

Julia graduated in 2000 from Centennial College in Scarborough. She began practicing in the west end of Toronto and continued there for over 6 years before making the move to Newmarket and joining the Foster Team.

Julia's interest in massage began many years ago after a reconstructive knee surgery at the age of twelve. After many visits to various types of doctors, she found out that the true source of her post surgery pain was soft tissue related. After one visit to a massage therapist she was on her way to recovery and a career choice. Through personal experiences with massage therapy Julia has learned its power's and developed a passion!

Julia specializes in deep tissue treatments, taking a rehabilitative approach while understanding that your relaxation is always the main component. She really enjoys developing an ongoing relationship with her patients. Through strengthening exercises, stretches and general health information she believes in a multi dimensional approach to wellness.

Julia says "Through my training and experiences I have gained knowledge of anatomy and a true intuition for where the pain is and what treatments will heal".
